to faithfully and biblically serve the local church
Why Serve?
God's Word calls the church one body. It is many parts joined together with a single purpose. It's not sameness. It's a shared mission.
In the Gospels, Jesus prayed that His followers would be one. (John 17:21-23) Not uniformity, but complete unity of purpose. That means your purpose was never about chasing your personal mission. It's about joining God's unified mission to love Him and love people.
Our individual gifts and opportunities are not the purpose. They are the way we live it out.
