Adult Small Group Leader

As a Small Group Leader, you create a welcoming and spiritually enriching environment where group members can grow in faith, build authentic relationships, and walk through life together. Small Groups are families within the larger church family. You facilitate Bible-centered teaching/discussion, encourage prayer and accountability, and model what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life. Your role is not to have all the answers, but to guide conversation, cultivate community, and care for the people God has entrusted to your group.
Expectations:

  • Prepare and facilitate weekly group discussions from a curriculum or the weekly Sermon Discussion Guide.

  • Pray regularly for group members

  • Foster a safe and supportive atmosphere

  • Encourage spiritual growth in the context of community

  • Communicate with church staff and provide feedback as needed

Commitment:
  • 1 hour per week (meeting)
  • 2-3 hours per week (preparation)
