As followers of Jesus we believe the most important thing we do is pray. Every believer should value the spiritual discipline of prayer, but, as a church, we have a specific ministry that functions to give great devotion and value to prayer. If you are naturally drawn to prayer and find great joy in spending time with God in prayer, I would encourage you to consider serving on our Prayer Team.

Expectations:
Prayer team serves in a couple different ways at FBCN.

• During the response time in worship services - to be available to pray for people who may want prayer. Currently, we have one male and one female scheduled down front for prayer in each service.
  
  
• Lead out in 24 hours of prayer. We’d like our Prayer Team members to select an hour to come and pray in the prayer room during our 24 Hours of Prayer. We understand you may not be available to do that every month, but we believe this is an important way our Prayer Team can lead out.
  
  
• Many times, the Prayer Team is also called upon during worship nights to be available to pray for people. 

Requirements:

• Member and active attender of FBCN
• Available to serve one Sunday morning a month in worship services for prayer during response time. You may not serve that often, but you most likely won’t serve more than that. 
• Ability to honor confidentiality of prayer requests share with you
