Kids Ministry Leaders

Our Children's Ministry Leaders are called to be Theologians (think deeply), Worldview Shapers (shape lives), and Disciple-Makers (lead others). We believe in the importance of teaching theology to kids because God's glory and commission are not dependent on age or setting. When we keep God’s glory and His Great Commission at the forefront, it changes everything — our hearts, our mindset, and the way we teach. Children’s ministry leaders have the unique opportunity to disciple through consistent presence and relational investment.
Expectations:

  • Be intentional. Every one of our kids who will be here is a soul that needs the Gospel. Build relationships with them. Be personable with them.

  • Get Involved. When our kids see us involved and engaged with whatever activity, song, game, or lesson, they will be inspired to engage as well.

  • Communication. Communication is key. If you can’t be here, please let me and your team know so we can plan accordingly. This will help us tremendously. Life happens, and sometimes we can’t make it. Just be honest and let us know.

  • Gospel-Centered. Look for opportunities to share the Gospel with kids.

  • Flexibility. Things happen, life happens, chaos will occur. I will do my best to make sure it does not happen, but just know it will be okay. We will get through the day. The Lord will be glorified.

  • HAVE FUN. Kids' Ministry is supposed to be fun! We want all kids in
the Newcastle area to know that this is the place to be every week because Knowing God and Making Him known is fun!
