55+ Ministry Volunteer

Senior adults at FBCN strive to echo pastor and author John Piper, who prayed, “O God, don’t let me waste my final years! Don’t let me buy into the American dream of retirement – month after month of leisure and play and hobbies going around collecting seashells. Lord, please have mercy on me. Spare me this curse.” If you have a passion for serving the 55+ and helping them in this mission we would love you to serve with us.
Expectations:

  • Assisting with event setup, hospitality, and logistics

  • Assisting with meals, serving food

  • Engage with the women and men in the 55+ ministry

  • Build relationships

Requirements:
  • Member and active attender of FBCN
  • available to help serve at our once a month events
  • Help set up, serve and clean up at 55+ events
